Delete from inside the app
Open LILO on your phone and go to the Settings tab. Tap Account & Privacy. Next to Sign out you’ll see a small red trash icon — tap it, then confirm.
Deletion runs immediately. The account, your data in the app, and everything tied to it are removed and cannot be recovered.
Don’t have access to the app?
If you lost your device, uninstalled LILO, or can’t sign in for any other reason, email support@lilo.fit from the address registered to the account. Use the subject line “Delete my account”.
We process manual deletion requests within thirty days and reply when it’s done. If the email you’re writing from differs from the one on the account, we may ask a follow-up question to verify the request before we proceed.
What we delete
When the account is deleted — by you or by us on request — the following is removed:
- Profile (name, email, body metrics, goal)
- All workout history, routines, and exercise logs
- All meal logs, custom recipes, and nutrition goals
- Weight, sleep, steps, heart rate, and other health data
- Chat messages with your trainer
- Session bookings and outstanding session balances
- Your trainer’s notes about you
- Photos and file attachments tied to your account
What we keep
Accounting records related to payments are retained for the period required by the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act — typically five years — with personal identifiers anonymised where possible. That’s the only category we keep. Everything else is removed within thirty days of the deletion request, in line with our privacy policy.
Just want to leave your trainer?
If your real goal is to stop sharing data with the trainer who invited you — but keep the account — that’s a separate, lighter action. In the app, go to Settings → Data sharing & Consent and toggle off the trainer’s access. Your account stays; the trainer loses access immediately.
Apple Sign-In note
If you signed in with Apple, deleting the LILO account removes the account on our side, but the entry under iOS Settings → your Apple ID → “Apps using Apple ID” must be revoked separately by you. We are tracking server-side Apple credential revocation as a future improvement.
